Dr. (Mrs.) Indrani Senarathne Hassanally, a Registered General Medical Practitioner under the Ayurveda Medical Council of Sri Lanka, has devoted more than 40 years to the service of traditional and alternative medicine. Her deep expertise in Ayurveda and Acupuncture, combined with her compassionate community service, has positioned her as a leading figure in holistic healthcare both locally and globally.
She holds prestigious certificates in Acupuncture—both locally and internationally—and an M.D. in Acupuncture. Her dedication to advancing alternative healing methods has taken her to numerous international seminars, especially in India, and she proudly represented Sri Lanka at the SAARC Medical Conference in New Delhi in 2004.
Dr. Hassanally is also the bearer of the Colvin Senarathne Traditional Medicine Heritage, a proud legacy passed on by her father, Dr. Colvin D. Senarathne, a respected former lecturer at Gampaha Yakkala Siddha Ayurveda University and Chief Editor of the renowned astrological newspaper Iranama, published with the Dawasa Independent Newspaper.
