Boston, Massachusetts – The Captive of WDNR Museum in Boston’s Downtown is permanently shut down for business after two years. The business opened in 2024 with 20 other interactive exhibits. The final day will be August 30.

The museum announced its final chapter this week in a statement on Facebook.


"After years of curiosity, creativity, connection, and countless unforgettable moments, WNDR Museum is preparing to close its doors,"  said WNDR. "To every guest who visited, every artist who shared their work, and every team member who helped make WNDR what it was — thank you. You made these spaces more than museums."

However, it was not specified why WNDR is closing. The museum provides interactive exhibits that are meaningful and touchable. Giancarlo Natalie, General Manager of WNDR who stated in 2024 about the important role of art.


"The classic museum, you have paintings on the walls, installations on the walls," said Natalie. This way, you can actually interact with and be a part of our art." 


Tickets for the museum begin at $29.99 for adults and $26.99 for children who are 3 years of age and older. It is free for children under the age of 2 years.
