Hello,

I am Indu Hansana. I am currently a third year student studying a special degree in mass communication at the University of Sri Jayawardenepura.

Since I had a desire to work in the field of media since my school age, I participated in various activities since my school age, such as radio work and writing articles for newspapers. I have also held the position of president of the school's media organization. I also studied media and communication subjects for advanced level. Later in the university, I am doing studies related to media field and I am working in university media programs and media club.

I have also completed Human Resource Management Diploma course. Furthermore, I participated in creating a radio drama program last year under our university curriculum and it was a great achievement for me. I am happy to inform you that as in previous years, I am preparing to participate in the short film festival held in the field of mass communication called Cinema Theerthaya. Moreover, I was able to join various field trips and social activities related to the media. I also received the award for Best and Upcoming Sinhala News Editor at the annual awards ceremony held by the University's Media Club.

So, in this way, there is hope for me to continue working in the field of media. It is my privilege to work as a letter writer at Jadetimes PLC to gain social experience as a mass communication expert in such situations. Through training at Jadetimes PLC, I experienced the opportunity to see the art of writing in a new way through news editing. The knowledge and experience gained from this is exceptional for me to enter the media industry in the future to pursue a career in the media industry. I have already entered the international media industry and I am fully thankful to Jadetimes PLC.
