An Off-Duty Worcester Police Officer Murdered, An Investigation for Suspect Continues

Worcester, Massachusetts — An on-going investigation is currently within the following an off-duty police officer was pronounced deceased in his resident area. Officers were reported to Wildwood Avenve just prior 5:30 on Tuesday morning (August 18) and found the victim. Police explained that he was patrolman, Kurt Solomon who served with Worcester Police for 30 years. Law enforcement is finding a Karen Solomon, a 58-year-old suspect who resides that home and is looking for questions. Police described her as harmed and dangerous. At this moment, police is continuing to find Solomon.
At around 12:00 on Tuesday, a press conference on Wildwood Avenue, Worcester Police Chief Paul Saucier gave an information about the horrific incident.
“This morning, approximately 5 28 a.m. with the police responded to Wildwood have for report of a medical person down upon arrival, we found a deceased male later determined to be off duty police officer for with the PD, said Saucier. “ We want to have privacy for the family right now. And when this event concludes, we will give you more information. But again, it's an active investigation."
Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early Jr suggested that a lot of agencies are participating this investigation.
"Every asset of the Worcester Police Department, Mass State Police assigned to the Worcester DA’s office, the Mass State Police airwing,” said Early. “We also have the Homeland Security investigation office and the U.S. Marshal’s office involved in this. It is a tragedy right now."
