World leaders gathered today at the G7 Summit in France for discussions focused on two of the world's most pressing crises: the conflict in Ukraine and recent tensions involving Iran. Leaders from the United States, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, Italy, and Japan are seeking coordinated responses to growing geopolitical uncertainty.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with international leaders and called for stronger support to pressure Russia into peace negotiations. Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine needs continued military and economic assistance while exploring diplomatic pathways toward ending the war.

Meanwhile, discussions also focused on the recent preliminary agreement between the United States and Iran aimed at reducing tensions in the Middle East. Leaders welcomed signs of de-escalation but emphasized that lasting peace will require continued diplomacy and compliance from all parties involved.

Economic security, trade, energy supplies, and global stability are also key topics at the summit. Analysts believe the outcomes of these meetings could significantly influence international politics and markets throughout the remainder of 2026
