Dopetrackz Radio is an urban-formatted online radio station provided internationally and authorized by Dopetrackz Publishing LLC. Dopetrackz Radio offers a music selection for independent urban-formatted internet radio stations, featuring a wide range of Hip-Hop and R&B, as a result of independent music submissions being heard internationally.
Dopetrackz Shakur is the owner of Dopetrackz Radio, which was developed with the main purpose of providing artists a platform to showcase their dedication to their talent and expand their audience. The goal is to support independent artists in gaining exposure in the music industry, building their fan base on social media, and reaching listeners on other music streaming services. Dopetrackz Shakur is very passionate about working at the urban radio station.
“I created W.D.O.P.E. Dopetrackz Radio with a clear mission in mind: to give artists like myself a platform to showcase their talent and reach a wider audience,” said Shakur. “As an independent artist, I know firsthand how challenging it is to get your music heard, even after releasing multiple albums and achieving millions of streams through Dopetrackz Publishing LLC. The struggle to gain listeners on social media and other platforms can be overwhelming, especially for underground artists who may not have the resources or knowledge to promote their music effectively. That's why I wanted to build an outlet where these artists could get the exposure they deserve.”
The Dopetrackz Radio studio is located in Orlando, Florida. The station has an enormous coverage area due to its online presence, which is tracked on over 30 online streaming radio apps. It began broadcasting on digital radio in early 2019.
“W.D.O.P.E. officially began broadcasting on January 1, 2019, using a cloud-based system through Radio.co,” said Shakur. “Inspired by Eminem's Shade45, I wanted to create a similar experience for independent artists, with a focus on hip-hop, rap, and R&B. Our station, based in Orlando, Florida, features a diverse selection of music from artists all over the world. We’re listed on over 30 online radio apps, and the station can also be streamed on iHeartRadio and Apple Music, giving us a massive global reach.”
Music production is also a passion for Shakur. He has had the opportunity to produce for many artists. As a team in Orlando, they developed music events to create a legacy, taking their music careers to the next level and becoming more creative in their work.
“Beyond the radio station, I’ve always been passionate about music production,” said Shakur. “I’ve had the honor of producing for numerous artists and working alongside my crew, N.E.P., which includes DJ Fckm, Smoke One, Slimdation, Lanky Lank, and M.J. Finesse. Together, we've created something special for Orlando’s music scene. Dopetrackz Radio is the next step in continuing that legacy—helping underground artists elevate their craft and share their voice with the world. And with more music on the way, I’m excited about what’s next for Dopetrackz Radio and my future projects.
