With the series tied at 2–2, the match in Bengaluru on October 17 will decide who takes the trophy.

India and West Indies have one match left, and either team can still win the series. After four games, both teams have two wins each, making the final T20 in Bengaluru on October 17 the deciding game. India will hope to win in front of its home supporters, while West Indies will look to finish the tour with a series victory. Both sides have shown they can win, so neither can afford to take the other lightly.

West Indies kept its hopes alive with a 24-run win in Hyderabad in the fourth match. Shai Hope led the batting with a century, helping his team set India a target of 248 runs. His innings gave the West Indies bowlers a strong total to defend and put pressure on India from the start. The victory brought the series level and made sure the winner would be decided in the last game.

India began the chase well, with Sanju Samson reaching his half-century in just 20 balls before getting out for 56. Later, Tilak Varma and Nitish Kumar Reddy added 70 runs together, keeping India’s chances alive. However, the team lost wickets towards the end and was bowled out for 223. India will now need to find a way to build on a quick start and keep the chase going until the job is done.

Before the final match, India has added Bhuvneshwar Kumar to its squad while Arshdeep Singh recovers from a shoulder injury. Arshdeep was hurt while batting in Hyderabad, and his availability will be decided before the game. Bhuvneshwar returns to India’s T20 setup after nearly four years, giving the team another experienced bowler to choose from. His place in the squad gives India an extra option, although it does not guarantee that he will play.

For India, giving away fewer runs will be an important goal after the high-scoring game in Hyderabad. Its batters will also need to build partnerships and avoid losing several wickets close together. West Indies will want to repeat its strong batting performance and put India under pressure again. Both teams will need to choose carefully when to play attacking shots and when to take fewer risks.

The series decider gives both teams one last chance to finish on a winning note. A catch, an extra run saved or a well-bowled over could make a difference if the game becomes close. Staying calm under pressure will matter, especially in the final overs when there is little time to recover from a mistake. After four closely fought matches, the result in Bengaluru will settle the series.
