Worcester, Massachusetts – The Boston Bruins hired Marco Strum to look forward to being their upcoming head coach. It would be a huge hire for the B’s, who had a previous merry-go-round of coaches for the past three years.
98.5 The Sports Hub’s Tim McKone commented on the hiring of the former Bruin.
"He's obviously a former Bruin, came over in the Joe Thornton trade," said McKone. "So certainly a familiar face coming to Boston, but there's plenty at work. It was a disappointing year last year for the Boston Bruins. After a big offseason it kind of fell apart for them, so there's a lot of work to do this offseason, and this was a good first step to get back on track for the Boston Bruins."
