Tyla Announced Her Sophomore Album – A*Pop

Tyla has finally announced the release date for her sophomore album, A*Pop, that would be released on July 24 via Epic Records. The project would feature 14 songs, including three released singles: “Is It”, “CHANEL”, and “She Did It Again”. The South African singer unveiled the album trailer, which described and promoted A*Pop in three words: “African”, “Unapologetic”, and “Confident”. Watch it on YouTube.
Tyla stated in a Rolling Stone interview.
“I feel like the first album, it was very hectic, it was a rush. It was like, all of a sudden, overnight craziness,” said the recording artist. “So now that I’m settled in, I feel like I know more about my direction and what I want to do, what I want to say.”
Tyla released her self-titled debut album in 2024, followed by the 2025 EP, WWP. She collaborated with other artists, including WizTheMic, Sean Paul, and Wizkid.
