Worcester, Massachusetts — Drivers across Massachusetts are looking at gas prices constantly increasing, with the statewide average recently at $4.34 per gallon, according to AAA. Drivers could find regular gas for $4.19 a gallon, below the state average.
However, Fuel experts said “becoming a growing concern as geopolitical tensions continue to impact global oil markets.”
AAA stated the fuel prices in Massachusetts:
$4.34 Regular
$4.95 Mid-Grade
$5.35 Premium
$6.12 Diesel
Analysts had the perspective that oil prices as tensions constantly would progress at around the Strait of Hormuz, a critical shipping route for global energy supplies. Considerations above the Iran War which supported the fuel prices much higher across America.
According to Boston 25 News, “experts warn the impact may extend far beyond the gas pump as colder weather approaches. Higher Oil Prices could drive up home heating costs this winter, particularly for New England families who rely on heating oil.”
Without any automatic signs of relief in global oil markets, Drivers and Homeowners are more likely to be ready for higher energy costs in the months ahead.
