Santa Clara, California — For the Second Time in NFL history, the Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl Champions at Levi’s Stadium.
Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III led his team’s defense and running back. The New Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX. Also known as “the Dark Side”, the Seahawks’ protection unleashed havoc on regular-season MVP runner-up quarterback Drake Maye, terminating him six times and obligating him to take the ball more than three times.
Seattle linebacker Derrick Hall mandates the first turnover of the game – his first since 2024 – in the third quarter with a strip sack. In the fourth quarter, linebacker Uchema Nwosu and safety Julian Love snatched the ball for the Seahawks.
The Patriots maintained a scoreless until Maye found wide receiver Mack Hollins for a 35-yard touchdown to remove the lead to 19-7 with 12:27 remaining due to appreciation to those back and forth interceptions on the Patriots’ new adventure, the New England did not go even further.
Walker led Seattle’s offense with 135 rushing yards, averaging 5.0. Yards per carry. And Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold, a first-round pick-turned-journeyman, was involved in a turnover-free game and finished 19 of 38 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown.
