Auburn, Massachusetts – The Auburn Girls Basketball Summer League was stocked with local high school teams that play twice a week at the Auburn High School gym, and the girls adored participating in their games in the air-cooling system.

"I really enjoy the summer. I like it," said David Prouty Captain, Martina Ethier, "I like that it's air conditioned,  that our first game that we had it was actually so hot out and if it was outside, it would've had to get canceled but because it was inside it didn't have to be.  It's really nice to play here because it helps me work on, I am really shy when it comes to shooting, our first game, my coach actually said to me like Tina you have to shoot so that's why it's just good to have something to work on without having the stress of winning or losing."

“I think the league is good," said David. Prouty Guard Riley Peletier, "it definitely helps us work on like things that were like lacking like helps us improve our shooting more to focus on that instead of just focusing on the whole game like once the regular season starts, I think I've improved defense more, it's helped me focus on that a lot and my shooting."
