Joyce Wrice announced her sophomore album, MACHIKO, set for release on October 9, 2026, via BMG Records. The album title means “city girl” in Japanese, reflects Wrice’s middle name, and symbolizes boundless hope.
Rated R&B describes MACHIKO as “a self-examination of the patterns, the fear of being seen, and what love looks like when you stop protecting yourself – sensual, playful, and a little reckless, flirting with the risk instead of flinching from it.”
“I’m not heartbroken and jaded anymore,” said Wrice. “This era is about living fully, confidently, and fearlessly.”
MACHIKO would feature 14 songs, including two released singles: Break Me In and Crack The Code.
MACHIKO will be released on October 9 via BMG.
