Dr. Keith Nester A. Lavin, an accomplished educator, nurse, and academic professional, is a paragon of interdisciplinary excellence and global impact in the fields of health sciences and education. With an extensive portfolio that spans continents, disciplines, and educational levels, Dr. Lavin stands as a testament to dedication, intellect, and service in both academic and clinical settings.
Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Centro Escolar University – Makati Campus, Dr. Lavin recently received an Outstanding Rating of 96.208 in the faculty performance evaluation for the 1st Semester of SY 2024–2025 — a mark of his unwavering commitment to teaching competence and professional excellence.
His current academic engagements are expansive and international in scope. He serves as a Remote Peer Reviewer for the Celebes Nursing Journal in Indonesia, Senior Research Adviser at Dove Francaise International Council of Universities (UK), and Graduate School Faculty and Research Supervisor in Education and Health Sciences at Accord University (Somalia). In the Philippines, he holds multiple academic roles including Associate Professorial Lecturer at De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, Assistant Professor III at Manila Tytana Colleges, and Professor at the City University of Pasay.
Dr. Lavin’s professional journey also includes teaching stints at prestigious institutions such as Ateneo de Davao University, Jose Rizal University, and Trinity University of Asia, where he shaped future generations of nursing and healthcare professionals.
