Kehlani’s self-titled album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 in the week of May 8, 2026. According to Luminate, it received 69,000 equivalent album units, 45,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA), and 24,000 album sales in the United States. The album reached a huge debut for an R&B album by a woman this year, and it became Kehlani’s fourth top 10 album so far in her career.
The Grammy Award-winning Oakland-native songstress released “Kehlani” on her birthday, featuring an exclusive guest appearance that yielded 17 tracks. It peaked at number one on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip Hop albums, number two on Top Album Sales, and number five on Top Streaming Albums.
