Kehlani released the official music video for her Back and Forth collaboration with Missy Elliott on June 3, 2026, via Atlantic Records, for her third single, released in April, from her self-titled album. The visual brought together two generations of Hip-Hop and R&B artistry.
Director X and Vinnie Hobbs directed the music video, which appears to take place at a pool party where a two-time Grammy Award winner and legendary rapper show their vibrant energy. Recording artist Monica made a cameo appearance. The video was released following the announcement of Kehlani's World Tour throughout North America and Europe.
